Irish Medical Physics Services was founded in 2023 to provide Radiation Protection advice to the Medical, Dental and Veterinary sectors in Ireland. It was established to meet the growing demand in Ireland for Radiation Protection Advisor and Medical Physics Expert services to ensure compliance with the requirements of both the Environmental Protection Agency and HIQA.

Irish Medical Physics Services is based in south Kildare and was established by Michael Rowan who has over 20 years’ experience working in the Medical Physics sector. Michael is a registered level 2 Radiation Protection Advisor with the EPA and a registered Medical Physics Expert with the Irish College of Physicists in Medicine.
